First Visit

Brief Paperwork

Upon entering the office, we have some brief paperwork for you to fill out. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition.

Consultation

Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with the doctor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options.

History and Examination

In order to determine what your actual problem is, the doctor will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, a number of specialized tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent.

X-ray Studies

Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to either rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you.

Same Day Treatment

Once finished with the examination and all appropriate studies, patients will generally be provided with their first treatment during this same visit. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies.

Home Instructions

Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.

Schedule Your Next Appointment

You will be given a convenient appointment time for your follow-up visit. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days and are provided with a complete review of findings. Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed during this time.

Your Second Visit

Report of Findings:

• The doctor will give you his report of findings. He will answer the three major questions that most new patients ask: (1) What caused my problem? (2) Can chiropractic help my problem? (3) How long will it take to correct? Afterwards you may ask any additional questions that you may have.
• One of our staff will briefly go over our fees and choices of care plans.
• You will be given your second chiropractic adjustment.

Bring your children in for checkups: Children are just as susceptible to spinal injury and trauma as you are, perhaps even more so! Don’t wait until they have problems of their own to get them checked out. Our doctors have a lot of experience taking care of children and the procedures we use are very gentle and safe. In fact, once your children realize that chiropractic adjustments do not hurt they will insist that you bring them with you.

Fast service: You may be surprised at how quickly we can get you in and out. Most patients appreciate the fact that we respect their time. We know that many doctors are slow and make their patients wait substantial amounts of time. We don’t work that way. We know that your time is valuable, so we promise that we won’t waste it if at all possible.
